Ernestine Klecz is an illustrator and artist based in Budapest and Miami. As a recent illustration graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, she works across various mediums, including drawing, animation, woodworking, and printmaking. Her practice is centered around the excavation of youthful memories, seeking to construct a distinct, imaginative world. Influenced by Eastern European folktales and animation, her work reimagines the mundane, offering an introspective exploration between the ordinary and the fantastical.
