The Haitian Heritage Museum brings back one of it's most celebrated exhibitions: "Chimen Libete" (The Road to Freedom) a collaboration between the Haitian Heritage Museum and the Museum of the Haitian National Pantheon (MUPANAH) in Port-au-Prince.
Through pictures, graphics and text, the exhibition examines the history of Haiti’s path to freedom, from the scourge of slavery to independence in 1804. The exhibition will trace the foundations of the abolition of the slave trade, and slavery while educating visitors on this most important aspect of global history.
